The swiveling action of our Crown bar stool comes from the bearing assembly that is used for steering a bicycle (called a headset). We normally use heavy-duty BMX headsets for smooth and durable operation, but we can use any brand of headset from any bike. 

The steel version is made with chromed steel rims. The aluminum version is made with higher end aluminum rims that are new, factory rejects.

This piece is made to order. Please allow 4-6 weeks for construction.
