This was commissioned by a customer who wanted a pub-height table for the heavy, live-edge slab that he had milled from a tree on his farm.
We made the base extra burly to support the base, and also for the possibility that one or more people would want to dance on it.

The base is constructed of bicycle rims and frame tubes, and is made to support heavy table tops.
